An advanced Registration Engine.
The AIPR Registration Engine makes use of state-of-the-art algorithms, which have been investigated and implemented by the research team at Mayachitra . It is robust, accurate (especially when compared to other commercial automatic image registration products) and runs on off-the-shelf hardware taking full advantage of multi-core technology. By using geoAIPR it is possible to register very difficult images sets, even when the geometric and photometric variations amongst theimages are very drastic.
Out of the box, reliable support for georeferenced images.
geoAIPR allows to georeference the mosaic if one of the images is georeferenced. The geographical/projected coordinates will be transferred to the entire mosaic so that it
can be used in any standard GIS application.
Modular and clean design.
AIPR has a modular design: the back end modules are driven by a scheduler which is launched from the command line. This allows the user to accomplish challenging registration tasks in a batch fashion. The registration procedure requires minimal manual intervention: the project and configuration options are set using simple configuration files. Generally the default parameters allow to register several different types of images.

AIPR has been successfully used to register images coming from different domains:
