From your last trip, from the outer space or from a microscope... No matter where your images come from, use AIPR Lite 1 to create astonishing, photorealistic and seamless panoramas.

Click on the thumbnails to navigate inside the full resolution panorama. Note that the panoramas were not post-processed: this is what AIPR Lite 1 is capable of!

Monument Valley

Size: 6 images, about 28 mega pixels panorama. Configuration: pure translation and radial distortion correction. Image courtesy: Giovanni Pau.

Golden Gate

Size: 40 images, about 199 mega pixels panorama. Configuration: rotational homography with planar projection and radial distortion correction.

Hawaii Nature

Size: 14 images, about 23 mega pixels panorama. Configuration: rotational homography with cylindrical projection and lens distortion correction. Notes: this is an example of a 360 degrees panorama.

View from Twin Peaks

Size: 26 images, about 96 mega pixels panorama. Configuration: rotational homography with cylindrical projection.

Retina

Size: 16 images, about 4 mega pixels panorama. Configuration: Translation with no lens distortion correction. The data collection comes from and retains copyright by Steven Fisher's Retina Cell Biology Lab, NRI, UCSB. Note that the source mouse retina images were acquired using a confocal microscope (with high quality lenses which do not introduce significant radial distortion).

Views from Mars

Size: 16 images, about 23 mega pixels panorama. Configuration: rotational homography with cylindrical projection. Image courtesy: Spirit Rover, Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Note that the black spots are present in the source images and are probably due to packet losses from the rover. The original images present severe lighting variations.

Views from the Lab

Size: 6 images, about 10 mega pixels panorama. Configuration: rotational homography with planar projection, and lens distortion correction.

Satellite

Size: 2 images, about 10 mega pixels panorama. Configuration: homography and no lens distortion correction.

Grand Circle Sky

Size: 6 images, about 7 mega pixels panorama. Configuration: rotation, scale and translation (RST) and lens distortion correction. Image courtesy: Giovanni Pau.

Zion

Size: 6 images, about 22 mega pixels panorama. Configuration: rotational homography and lens distortion correction with cylindrical projection. Image courtesy: Dmitry Fedorov.

Sikkim Clouds

Size: 16 images, about 36 mega pixels panorama. Configuration: rotational homography with cylindrical projection and lens distortion correction.
