Importing images into imago
Creating a new Album
- Select Albums and right click.
- Choose a menu Add album.
- Type an album name you want in the dialogue box.
Importing your images
You can import images into imago by following these steps.
- Select an album you created and right click.
- Choose a menu Add image(s).
- Select a folder and choose specific images you would like to import.
Import folder into imago
You can import a folder into imago's album similarly. Mayachitra imago will copy all subfolders and keep the structure of folders you imported.
Copy images while you're browsing local drives
You can also copy a folder you would like to import while browsing a local hard drive.
- Select a folder you want to import from Local Drives and right click.
- Choose Copy from menu.
- Select an album you want to import copied images to within Albums and right click.
- Choose Paste from menu.
Creating a new Smart Album
Smart Albums allow you to have albums created automatically from specific images in your Albums. imago provides two Smart Albums called "Recently Added" and "Recently Analyzed". You can make your own Smart Album to meet a certain criteria. For example, you can create a Smart Album that contains only Z-stack images collected within the last three months using mouse brains.
- Select Smart Albums and right click
- Choose a menu Add Album.
- Type an album name you want in the dialogue box.
You can change the Smart Albums' matching criteria easily:
- Select a Smart Album you want to edit the matching criteria and right click.
- Choose a menu Edit Smart Album.
- Use a drop-down search panel to choose the criteria by which image will be added to album.
- Click Save.
