A novel, orthogonal approach to static malware analysis. Traditional methods rely on signature matching or behavioral analysis within a sandbox. However, sophisticated malware is often sandbox-aware, delaying execution or altering its behavior to evade detection.
Our solution bypasses this vulnerability entirely. Malsee operates on the principle of malware visualization. It ingests the binary of an executable and translates its bit-string into a rich visual texture. A suite of custom-trained deep learning models then analyzes this "image" to identify the intricate patterns and structural anomalies inherent to malicious code.
MalSee provides a powerful, complementary layer to any security stack, specializing in catching threats that traditional dynamic analysis might miss.
